64 SQUARES

My work 64 Squares pays homage to Ellsworth Kelly’s Colors for a Large Wall (1951) which hangs at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City. Mr. Kelly was a lovely and generous man to the Columbia County community where I live. In finding artistic inspiration in his work, I am pleased to honor him in this way. Here are 12 of the 64 Squares.

This project was supported in part by The Martha Boschen Porter Fund: A Fund of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation.
